THE MANDARIN'S GARDEN captures the spirit of the Orient - a mystical impression of China, based on re-discovered compositions from Kevin's childhood.

The music is inspired by some original material written in 1979 for piano, completely re-recorded using state-of -the-art technology, to capture the beauty of those original melodies, composed when Kevin was just 13.

These pieces, combined with newly-composed music, form a beautiful, impressionistic album that evokes the lush landscapes and distant, mountainous vistas of China.
